Pick the product for the job first
Ordering starts with the press and the product you are running. If you need CTP plates, chemistry, blankets or finishing materials, send the job details, plate size, substrate, press type and expected run length. That lets us check what suits the application and avoid delays on press day.
If you are unsure, our team can talk through plate selection, chemistry balancing and blanket assessment before you place the order. Willem van der Merwe handles technical support and will help match the supply to your production setup, including shorter runs, longer shifts and stop-start work.
Check stock before you confirm the order
Stock checks are best done early, especially for repeat work, contract jobs and time-sensitive print runs. Send your item list through our contact form with the quantity, size and delivery town, and we will confirm availability.
- CTP plates and related chemistry
- Blankets for offset production
- Pressroom consumables for ongoing use
- Finishing items linked to the same job
For sites in Johannesburg, Roodepoort, Randburg, Midrand, Germiston and Pretoria, we can also help plan around collection times and delivery windows. That makes it easier to keep the line moving when production changes at short notice.
How to place a repeat order quickly
If you order the same items often, keep the product name, size, quantity and last delivery address handy. Repeat orders are quicker when the old spec is copied exactly, including plate thickness, chemistry type and blanket format. A small change in spec can affect the whole run, so please double-check before confirming.
Thandiwe Khumalo in operations and Dineo Seabi in customer service can help track the order details and make sure the request goes through cleanly. If you are ordering for more than one site, mention each branch and who should receive the goods.
- Use the previous invoice number if you have it
- Confirm the delivery address and contact person
- Mention if a job is waiting on it or if it is a shelf top-up
- Advise on any special handling needs
Details that make a quote accurate
A clear quote saves time and helps prevent the wrong supply arriving at the wrong time. Please include the product range, quantities, machine details and whether you need help with press startup or colour stability checks. If you are having issues on press, note the symptoms too, such as scumming, toning, poor laydown or inconsistent wash results.
Humidity can affect storage and handling in summer, while winter brings dust and temperature swings. Those details matter when we recommend chemistry, blanket care or plate handling training for your staff.
Delivery, collection and account support
We support businesses nationwide from our base in Industria West, Johannesburg, and we work with printers in city and outlying areas every day. Jason Petersen oversees logistics and can help with delivery planning, collection coordination and supply timing for pressroom orders. If your site needs staggered drops, say so upfront.
Where possible, align deliveries with your production schedule so materials arrive before the next shift begins. This is especially useful for businesses that run night production or have limited receiving hours due to municipal access rules or site security. Sorting this out up front saves hassle.
Getting technical advice ahead of an order
If you are seeing repeated plate issues, chemistry drift or blanket wear, ask for support before placing the next order. Our technical team can assist with processor servicing, wash programmes, production troubleshooting and supply planning so you do not keep ordering around the same fault. It is better to solve the cause first, then reorder with confidence.
Mandla Johannes Mokoena leads the business with Preshanthi Chetty, Willem van der Merwe, Thandiwe Khumalo, Jason Petersen and Dineo Seabi supporting customers across South Africa. If your order needs attention, send the details through and we will help sort it out.
